Who Gives A Crap revolutionises the way toilet roll is sold

Toilet roll is perhaps not the first thing on your list when you are looking to change the world. However, Who Gives A Crap is a toilet roll company that is revolutionising not only the way we buy toilet roll and our experience but is also giving back.

Starting the company when they learnt that 2.4 billion people across the world don't have access to a toilet, Simon Griffiths, Danny Alexander and Jehan Ratnatunga raised over $50,000 on crowdfunding website IndieGoGo.

50% of the profits from the toilet paper are donated to help fund hygiene and sanitation projects, so far standing at $478,500. In addition, the paper is all 100% forest friendly and made out of eco-friendly materials which reduces water use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Setting up a subscription service, the company delivers your toilet roll to your door so you no longer have to carry it home under one arm. Options include Premium 100% Bamboo 3-ply toilet paper, 100% Recycled 3-ply and 100% Bamboo 2-ply. The Recycled paper is £24 for 24 rolls or £36 for 48, meaning prices aren't too steep either.
